"The Halfer" QRP Antenna

I was given a number of boxes of gear from a local Ham that was down sizing his equipment. Among the boxes I came across an antenna rolled up on two wooden dowels.
Also, I found some papers on "The Halfer" 40m end fed dipole.
I had just been looking at the Par Electronics EndFedz Dipoles, so I was interested !
It comprises of 67' of wire with a 34' counterpoise.
Raise the end of the long wire into the trees and hook the other end to your tuner or 4:1 balun and then to a tuner. The counterpoise lays on the ground.

I am planning on taking this up Crane Mountain on Nov 14th for the North American SOTA activity Day.

Information on this antenna can be found at the NJQRP website.

KC2EUS no more !

I turned in my KC2EUS call and got the vanity call of K1YMI. This matches my origional call of GM1YMI as close as I can get it in the US.
